OGA Rhythmic Booster Club Minutes

April 12, 2010

 

Meeting  called to order at 6:00pm.

 

Regionals:  Milly Skach:

Photographer-You need to notify him before the meet if you want your child photographed.  (Even if it’s right before the meet.)    The initial $20 you pay goes toward prints you order.

 

Nadine will e-mail telling when the girls need to arrive.

 

There will be 95 competitors.

 

We still need MC’s for the regional meet.  Stephanie will do level 7-10’s.

 

Need 2 people for each music shift.

Still need volunteers for unloading/loading the carpets.

Still need people to work admissions

 

Please tell Milly in e-mail what you like to help with.  Please don’t send a copy of the spreadsheet.

 

We will come in low on admissions income because we don’t have dual meet days for level 6 and lower.  Level 7-10 parents will pay $5.00 per day since they are competing both days and Level 6 and lower will pay $10.

 

We will not be doing concessions.

 

Plan to arrive early for parking—there are a lot of events at Pacific on Saturday.

 

Treasurer Report –Yeunan:

 

We cannot apply reimbursement to our booster accounts per OGA.

 

Summer Activites—Stephanie:

 

Stephanie thought we should do 1 or 2 events over the summer.  Anyone with ideas or who would like to head a committee on this should let Stephanie know.

 

End of Season Banquet:

 

Scheduled for Thursday, June 10 from 6-9.

 

Need to start planning coach gifts.

 

OGA Board of Directors Update:

Alex reported that there are four board openings.    The application packages  are due April 20, 2010.  (Strictly enforced deadline.)    Mike reports that he works about 3 hours per month.  There is a meeting every other month.
